We are so grateful for our donors. Your donations allow us to invest in important medical equipment and educational supplies while keeping medical treatment and school fees affordable for the Namalemba community.

We are currently raising money for three medical clinic needs:
1) a refrigerator ($1000 USD) for reagents and vaccines
2) A CBC (complete blood count) machine ($6000 USD) which will enable us to better detect infections and anemia
3) an incubator ($4000 USD) to help us save premature babies

​We are also praying for monthly contributors who can provide school fees for students in need. $20 USD a month will cover school fees for one child, which includes two meals every school day. Currently, about 50% of our students, many of whom have lost one or both parents, are unable to pay. Although school fees are necessary in order to pay teachers and provide student meals, we want to do everything possible keep these kids in school. More at https://www.daystar-em.org/daystar-school.

As a small community organization, we don't have much budget for fundraising and marketing. We need you to help us spread the word as God enlarges a family of global partners supporting the vulnerable in Uganda.
volunteer
There are plenty of volunteer needs and opportunities at Daystar Home. Right now, volunteers can help establish the farm and support construction. Down the road, we will accept applications to assist in the medical clinic, classroom, and job training classes. Please contact us for more information about our volunteer application process!
